Read on to find out…This book is divided up into 2 main components:1) Cleaning out your kitchen of unhealthy foods that WON’T help you achieve your goals.

2) Making sure that you restock your kitchen with HEALTHY foods that WILL help you.

Let’s go through each section in detail here…

Fat Burning Kitchen

Part One – Cleaning Out Your Kitchen

The author singles out some really catchy foods here. The kind of stuff that you may not even consider as being on a list like this. Overall, we also agree with most of their selections.

Each category is thoroughly researched, and well backed up by solid facts. There are quite a few “eye openers” here if you are not accustomed to healthy dieting. Otherwise for the most part, you won’t get too many big surprises here.

The heart of this section lies in the rational for getting rid of unhealthy foods from your kitchen, and is well backed up by explanations and research.

Bear in mind that this book does not expect you to be perfect all the time, knowing we are all humans. So while you can still snack on the occasional cookie or pizza, they key point is more about gaining the knowledge to make better food choices and being fully mindful of the pros and cons of the foods you’re eating on a regular basis.

In that context, this section is highly effective, giving you all the information you need to make informed choices, and not just relying on the ads that are pounding you daily on TV or the newspapers.

Part Two – Stocking Your Kitchen

The authors is also a BIG proponent of organic foods, which is focused on eating foods that are as close to their natural state as possible. In other words, pure, natural food as it was meant to be and minimizing or eliminating processed foods.

This section of the book is very detailed on WHICH natural foods you can choose for your kitchen and WHY you should eat them.

All in so far, this book provides rock-solid information that we really can’t fault on even if we wanted to. It’s all about selecting the right foods for a fat-burning diet.

However, in practical reality, you may find that not all of these foods readily available or affordable to you. But then again, this book doesn’t cover how you can eat ‘ideally’ on a budget, but just how best you can optimize it to suit your body and wallet. 🙂

Practically speaking, it’s also going to be very hard to implement EVERY tip in this book to work in your own kitchen. But you will have enough information on what foods you should stock in your kitchen to support your fat loss goals.

BONUS Section – The 23 Day Accelerated Fat Loss Plan

In this more advanced section, the author details the exact training and eating plan he used to go from 10.2% body fat to 6.9% body fat in just 23 days.

Quoting directly from Mike:

“There is nothing overly “extreme” or “dangerous” about any of these techniques… they are still very healthy eating habits (but just “amped up” a bit), and I didn’t use any stimulant-based dangerous fat burner pills at all. Everything I did during this 23-day fat-burning blast was mostly natural whole foods, a few natural supplements, and a few other tricks here and there with spices, teas, etc… along with a strategic training program that was elevated slightly above my normal training levels.”

So basically, there are no extreme starvation diets to endanger your body.

You will also be surprised to know there isn’t much of a focus on cardio training. It covers much more on resistance training with big exercises to boost your metabolism and circulation. There is some HIIT (high intensity interval training) included as well for variety.

The supplement advice is very focused on nutrients and not on “fat burners”, which is another positive thing.

Overall, there is very balanced and sound advice here that you can implement as well.

CONCLUSION:

If you’re a nutritionist, you may not learn that much more from The Fat Burning Kitchen.

But this book will certainly guide you on the correct foods to eat for your fat loss goals and clear many of those doubts.

While you may not be able to apply 100% of the ideas here, you will gain a good understanding of what goes into your body, and whether it is going to make you fatter or slimmer.
